Rewind and Forward

A time of reflections, 2019 was a year of transition. No book release, but plenty of background work. But 2020 will see the release of DEATH IS A RIDDLE and I’m hugely looking forward to it.

What happened in 2019?

The biggest news of 2019 was probably my coming out. Insiders knew FAAS KRAMER is Servaas Kamerling in real life, but until mid-2019, this was a public secret. With maturity and age, my pride in achievement has overtaken any fear of opinion.

2019 was also the year I changed my social media efforts. Using WordPress I created a new website, FAASKRAMER.com; responsive, interactive and stats-based, the site supports easy blog creation and social media push to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. An Instagram account was also added to my communication channels.

I changed Editor. Though quite satisfied with the former, a new opportunity presented itself. A native speaker too, but cheaper, local and one eager for a job.

What will happen in 2020?

DEATH IS A RIDDLE will finally be complete and published, probably in January! I had aimed for Christmas 2019, but unexpected changes and a drive towards quality have caused inevitable delays. Read the intro of my exciting new book here!

At this moment I have ideas for three new books: A finale of the ‘DEATH IS’ series, bringing together the open ends of all prior books. Or a totally unrelated story which concerns a business trip that goes wrong. I may continue my autobiography, or think of something completely different to do.

Whatever your background, culture or religion is, embrace equality and creativity. Treat each other with respect and drive towards a safer, healthier and happier world. All the best for 2020. Cheers!
